Default Medieval II Total War DOES NOT WORK!

Help, Ive been though hell here trying to get this work, Ive even went on a deleting spree and got the bogus Thinkpoint rouge spyware because of it.

    Ok, here is what happens...

    1. Dowloading/Installing, Fine...Fine...
    2. Pre-Loader pops up...Good.
    3. Its loading...GREAT!
    4. Black screen pops up, the computer bleeps and it says "A Unspecified error has caused this program to exit. Were sorry!

Ive ran it on "Can you run it?" program and it hits minimum requirements.

And whats sucks even more is that it runs on my old dusty laptop when I ran it on "Can you run it?" and it dosent even hit minimum requirements!!!

And like I said I cleared my memory/RAM CLEAN...like...almost empty.

    PLEASE HELP ME!

I didn't, I bought the "Total War Battle Pack" in Best Buy in the end of September which had the disks.

Srry, I didn't see a Technical Help topic XD

And also, I did the Direct-X Diagnostics, said I got DirectX 9.0. I usually can fix stuff like this, but I have never encountered such a back breaker as this before. And I got a 1GB RAM and a Athlon 64 processor with Pixel Shader 2.0. So I really don't know...
