You Are The Senate! http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=513
To Titus Cassius Gerges,
Governor Gerges, it is with a heavy heart that I write that I moved my army from Emporiae. The settlement seemed to be held together by the force of the Roman presence. I ask that you raise troops to keep the settlement from revolting. If the settlement does revolt it would lead to an increased pressure on myself and the people of Rome, as well as interrupt our effort against the Carthaginians.
Signed,
Consul Lucius Tiberius Imperious.

Flavius has been sick for many days. The sickness is very bad; he is not able to move. Not at all.
Every day doctors try to find out what disease is on Flavius, and servants carry water to hopefully wear off the pain a bit.
One day, Flavius talked. He was very pale, and was sweating as he talked: I have to send a letter to Rome. I can't do my job like this.
And then he laid down again. Seemingly the effort to talk had consumed a lot of his strength.

Flavius woke up early in the morning, and felt a new life bumping inside him. He rose from the bed and looked from the window: streets of Cartago Nova were peaceful, the first merchants were moving to their place and children playing in the streets, and their parents either laughing or calling them.
Spurius!
A servant ran in seemingly prepared to see Flavius at even worse state. The servant gazed in amazement how Flavius stood, and slowly, bowed and said: What do you need, master?
How long have i been ill?
About six months, master.
Six months? Gods! I must let the senators know of my state. Flavius walked slowly, as his legs hadn't had any training for half a year, but soon he walked quite normally despite the dizzyness of his movements.
Flavius began to write his message:
