Though they sweep over our lands like the sands of winter, never again will we bow before them; never again endure their oppression; never again endure their tyranny. We will strike without warning and without mercy, fighting as one hand, one heart, one soul. We will shatter their dreams and haunt their nightmares, drenching our ancestors' graves with their blood. And as our last breath tears at their lungs; as we rise again from the ruins of our cities...they will know: Helghan belongs to the Helghast." -Scholar Visari

Well what game are you trying to play? To play each other, just make sure there both on your homenetwork, assuming you have one. Either connected with Wifi, or Ethernet, it shouldn't matter (but Ethernet is better) If you don't that makes it a little more complicated, but still possible.

I'm taking a guess here on what you mean on 'Direct-IP'. Many games (such as RTW) have their online lobbies to play with. In addition to that, you can create a local connection with many games. What it probably wants you to do is type the other PC's local IP address. To find it, go to Start->run->CMD then type "ipconfig"
Look for the line that says IP address. Write it down. Then when the other computer it asks you for the IP to connect to, put that number in.

It means you need the LAN id of the PC your trying to connect to. Open up a command prompt 'CMD' and type IPconfig and press enter and write down the IP address.
