Cant install after steam download

I have downloaded the game several times from steam, but it will never let me install it, every time i try and launch it nothing happens.. the steam box opens for a few seconds then just closes. could someone please help me this is really frustrating

My best tip is actually to buy the game in a store, rather than downloading it.

i know that, its more convenient tho iv already paid for it too.. the launcher keeps saying there is a problem with the Microsoft.net framework but iv updated/reinstalled it and no change .. also i installed company of heroes which worked fine .. whatss going on !!!

If you haven't already contacted the tech/help service at Steam I suggest you do that.
