    Icon4 Possible virus infection?

    Hello fellow basement dwellers.

So, I did it. I really in' managed to click on one of those pathetic hotmail worm mails. Was gonna open another mail but slipped and accidently opened that one. As soon as the mail was opened up it sent me packin' to an unknown site which I guess contained the virus. As soon as I saw explorer trying to open up the site I closed it down.

I proceeded to quick scan the computer, tighten up some security options and initiated a vulnerability search (I have Kaspersky 2010) and I'm running a complete scan as we speak. AV programme is up to date. Nothing has showed up so far. Exactly what should I do? I haven't detected any deviant behavior yet but then I've been running a lot of scans at the same time so I'm guessing any drop in computer performance will pass me by until said scans have been completed.

Is it possible that I've avoided infection or is my AV programme just not detecting it?

Thank you for your time. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Do you have a Internet security suite or just the antivirus.
Anyways if the deep scan didn't showed you anything then you are safe nothing to worry about.
