Some questions with regards to tweaking (IBFD)

First of all I want to say that I absolutely love this mod! So far I've been playing as the Huns and it's a blast, but as hard as this may be to believe I have to admit there is one unit that I miss from the vanilla version (hunnic elite warriors). Not to sound critical, its just a matter of personal taste. So my first question is this: Is there a way that I could add the "vanilla" hunnic elite warriors unit to my Hun faction in this mod and if so how many or which files would I need to edit?

The next question that I have is how would I go about changing the information scrolls from dark gray to the default biege color? The only reason being it's difficult on my eyes to read the unit and building information screens.

Btw, I'm playing FLAGELLUM DEI (originally Rio's IBFD VII)...
