    Default Reinforcements delay?

Hi first of all, this is my first time playing DLV and its been amazing, you guys have done a immense job.

However, i seem to be unable to allow reinforcements to enter the battlefield. The pop up claims I need to upgrade my cpu but I know this is not the case.

I've searched the forum and the main solution seems to be to change the unlimited_men_ on battlefield etc preference to 1 instead of 0.

I have done this for both the medieval2preference file and the dlv one (despite issues with permission to edit the file etc)

Despite this problem persists, can anyone help me out?

It's 'unlimited_men_on_battlefield = 1' in your DLV_ext.cfg, under the [game] heading (add it if it isn't there). Don't know any other reason why it wouldn't work for you. DLV+BB enables reinforcements by default, by doing what I just described for you, check link in sig for more details.

AKAIK you can't activate it. The 10K is a trigger but you will be offered it. You may need to review your finances (click on the money pile) and it may be in one of the pop ups, not sure if this is correct?

    Synagogue or bank required.

Investment option appears when cash 10k+.

    1.7.5. Investing
If the player has more than 10000 Fl. available and has built a bank or jewish temple, he can invest
money in steps of 10000 Fl. each turn up to a maximum of 100000 Fl. depot. Investing has two
    advantages:
    - earning money and
    - avoiding negative inflation effects because of money overflow.
Information about the actual depot level and the possibility to invest\sell can be found in the
    financial overview screen.

I have more than 10000 fi easily and no pop up has come up at any point even when i press the financial overview button to get the inflation rate etc pop ups.

I also definently have a synagogue, not so sure about a bank though

Hmmm, not sure then. I have gotten the offer to invest without a bank, usually as soon as I break the 10K level.

It also works on DLV alone as long as you have 10,000 and a synagogue. Press on the money icon in the bottom right corner. Amongst those pop ups you should see one that asks if you want to invest. Personally, I find it only worth investing in times of boom. Otherwise, the payoff is not sufficient and the odds of losing the whole amount are too high (given the sizeable investment fee they charge you to deposit and/or withdraw).
