    Icon10 Suggestions please. :)

hi everybody. I'm new here. Anyways I've been playing the Roma Surrectum mod and its awesome. But when i get more than about 2000 troops on the field all together my game bogs down.

Now i'm running an NVIDIA GeForce 9100 graphics card. I thought that was pretty smoking or maybe its not. I'm not really a big computer junky. I was just wondering if there was anything i could do to increase my frame rate when i get those EPIC battles.

Also on a side note. How do you guys increase the unit sizes in the game? I keep seeing screen shots with Auxillia having like 200 troops in each unit. That would make for some massive battles!

But ya guys. So suggestions on what i can do to make the game run faster would be great. Should i but a new graphics card? IF this helps my specs are :

    6 gig of ram
    on windows 7 64bit
with an AMD Athlon II x4 Processor
    Nvidia Geforce 9100
with a full terabyte of memory.

Also i like to run the game on high quality. lol. I still want massive battles with high quality.

The graphics card is the bottom of the barrel for the 9000 series. You don't say how much dedicated ram. My 9800GT 512mb card does a good job but it won't do what a 470 or 2-290's in sli will.
Also, the game only uses one core of the cpu so if it's slow, battles will be slower.

I believe it has 1 gig dedicated to graphics but I'm not sure.

It's the card model that is not really made for this.

Read http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=99637 for a better idea.

Thanks bra! That would explain it. Because it runs fine usually.
