medieval 2 gold installation issue

Heya, new member here. Ive had M2TW installed for a while now, but i uninstalled to free up space cause i thought i wouldnt play anymore. Low and behold, i was wrong. I try installing it and ill get a message saying demoshield has stopped working properly. Then, itll go to the installshield, ask me to agree but itll only try to install the kingdoms expansions. So i searched to see if i left any medieval 2 remnants, all i found was the sega folder in my start menu>all programs. I found the uninstall setup, so i clicked it and instead it tried to install medieval. Idk whats going on.

Edit: All ive installed since is a few sims 2 expansions. Nothing else at all.

Sims 2 will flag SecuRom. Contact www.securom.com, run their little test. and request a file that works.
