    Default SPQR 8.0 music problem

When i re- installed SPQR 8.0 (All things ok. Rome 1.5, aso....), everything worked fine, but when i wanted to play, there was the original music of ROME 1.5.
Second trial with an new install of rome 1.5- and SPQR 8.0- the same failure.
This was a problem i had before when 8.0 came out.
I solved the problem with an install of 7.0 and then an Install of 8.0-- now the music is the SPQR one.
But- what´s the problem. does anybody has an idea?

    That's weird.

Maybe try redownloading the 8.0 installer? It's so strange that just the music would be goofed.

If it was me, I'd extract the spqr files into a dummy folder (that didn't contain rome vanilla, just a blank folder) and look in the \data\sounds\music folder to see if there were mp3s in there. If so, then there's something else going on.

Also SPQR overwrites the events.dat file which also has music to have SPQR sounds. So it may have not overwrote it for some reason, or you have your install somewhere else?

If he had his install somewhere else, SPQR wouldn't show up at all, right? And he says he gets the whole SPQR package but no music.

COULD be an OS thing or maybe he had an old version installed in the right area and the new one somewhere else and thought he installed the new versions. There are tons of possibilities.
