Poll: how to use Yuezhi faction slot
The Yuezhi faction is the one which has hd the least work put into it and many argue that it is unhistorical. Do yoú think that it should stay or be replaced by another faction? In that case, which faction should replace it?

To be honest, I'd say it should go. It is too similar to Sauromate (sp?), and seems half-done, as you say. I would like to see an Indian culture, similar to those that defeated Alexander at the end of his campaign, before he died. That would be interesting to see.
Or I would like to see the Numidians return. A desert culutre is really cool, and would be fun to play as. Some interesting things could be done.
How about a Scottish tribal culture starting in the Highlands. That could make for some good tribal wars with the Casse.

Guys the factions are set, the mod is done...what is the point of asking to completely remove and re start from scratch with another faction when they can just work to make the Yuezhi better, more unique, etc? I think it'd take far less time to simply improve upon the Yuezhi rather than work to incorporat a whole new faction.

This is just BETA, not a finished product and Yuezhi was a faction that they were unsure off hence it is unfinished so that they can remove it without much work.
How about a germanic tribe like Cherusci.
Their actions at Teutoberg forest is a valid reason to allow them in.

The Yuezhi shouldn't stay. During this time period their primary cultural interactions were to the east with the Xiongnu and the Chinese. While they would later have an impact on the classical world as the Kushans vis-a-viz the Silk Road they don't really make sense in a game centered on the Mediterrainian world.
I like the idea of an Arabic faction, especially one in modern day Yemen. They traded extensively with the classical world via the the caravan routes through the peninsula and by the Red Sea, as well as with India; especially after they learned how to use the monsoon winds. Plus the Arabian Peninsula is just so damn empty. It seems like the perfect place to add a new faction.
I think the Nubians/Ethiopians, while attractive, present similar problems as the Mayurans. They would require a whole new culture set to do them justice, and much of their interactions are with areas off the map. I think it would be better to use factions well within the borders of the map than adding more to the periphery.

I'd like to see a pre-celtic Irish faction. They were one of the only cultures that remained completely isolated from the Roman world. They'd be an interesting addition to the game, although they were obviously not an empire, nor expansionists, but they'd be unique from just about every other faction in the game.
