Has anyone experienced increased map-spikes since 1.5/6 ?
This is what I'm refering to:

I noticed the map I'm doing for Imperia Romana had a lot of spikes on it; despite me having previously got rid of them. I loaded the hieghts file into photoshop but all the rgb values were correct.

Just as a test, yesturday I made a fresh install of rtw, then bi, then the 1.6 update and I noticed quite a lot of the little devils in the vanilla map too.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it a new bug or is it a problem my machine has just aquired?

None of the usual tricks for getting rid of them are workng
