SPQR attacking me?

Hi everyone I'm new on SPQR mod and I think it's a fantastic mod for RTW.
But I have a problem : I started a campaign playing Roma and after three turns, I had defeated Hannibal and was bringing my faction heir back to Capua (Capital) when suddenly the Senate attacked me. I was crossing their lands with my faction heir and a small army, is that the reason? Because now I'll have to restart a new campaign (very frustrated).
Does anyone knows why did the Senate attack me?

I'm afraid its illegal to cross their lands with an army or general, yep its a load game situ or you can you use the force diplomacy mod to sort a ceasefire. I'm sure it said in the "rather large" read me m8, big pitty as Hannibal's a .
