Could it not be possible to have something akin to the plaza on ramparts? Inacessible to infantry/ archers but jus the right size for a unit of trebuchet on some parts of the wall. Maybe 4 maximum? Could get rid of that annoying ring wall around the city which i think s pretty useless nyway. Is only decent protection from spies/ other agents

The best answer that you'll get seems to be that it will be done when it's done. We're all very anxious to play and we're hoping for an early february release but we'll jsut have to wait and see.

And I don't see how plazas aren't accessible by infantry? Anyway If it could be done it would be good but i doubt that it could be. Of course I have no modding experience or anything like that so who knows.

I take it that you mean the ring wall with the forts in it? This is lore accurate and imo definitely shouldn't be taken out. When I saw it I thought it was a great addition and although I haven't played Gondor long enough for it to come into any real play it could be sued to hold off an army for a while anyway, or to split one. Anyway it keeps the agents out so to me thats good enough. If it did nothing I'd be happy with it.

you did a great job. Is it possible for the Cair Andros used in the historical battle to be used in the campaign mode?

This is for the planned 3.0 version, yes.

ETA is estimated sometime around september probably, but nothing is set in stone.

EDIT: Damn Ngugi, beat me to it >.<

    Wow! That is amazingly cool!

Defending (or besieging) Minas Tirith is going to be absolutely insane.

Oh my god! I cant belive it! They look fantastic! Im drooling, just looking at them. I cant help asking if they are fully functional. I would also like to know if you will work on some custom elven and dwarven settlements. I have to say this is a historical day for the M2TW modding community.

Minas Tirith and Isengard in particular are simply awe-inspiring. I can't quite believe this is actually happening.

    I love you KK !!!!!!!!!!!

Do you think create a new "generic" settlements for each race ? Or create other settlements in the future, maybe for a V3 version ?

I totally support the creation of generic settlements for at least elves, dwarves and Mordor, specially elves. I bet KK wont disappoint us fans.

All that's left is single units in sieges and on the campaign.

Keep up the magnificent work TATW

EDIT: I just hope the pathfinding is good. I do love how unique Moria is. I mean, it's the door to the mountain and the settlement is actually inside a mountain. I'm defenitely impressed.

Also, will thses be available in custom battles?
