Falied to Update For kindoms Patch 1.5

hi i have both medieval 2 and Kingdoms (separate buys) and i downloaded the 1.5 patch for the non-gold version, but everytime one of the 4 campaigns finishes updating apparently the localized file in " C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\"Each Campaign"\packs" is invalid or missing?

Please could someone help as i want to play the latest mods.

The first thing is disable the UAC and reinstall the game in C:\Games. You're running into Windows security BS.

Can you start a vanilla campaign after installing Medieval2?
Can you start a campaign in each of the four campaigns after installing Kingdoms?
If so, you have a bad patch.

i can play all the campaigns ok, i had to get the patch as a folder with a setup application inside because if i got the patch as a exe file when i click on it it sais my "bit" is not compatible with the file???

I am very new here, i want to beg pardon if my question will not be apropiated or not clear: i have installed medieval II total war, i have heard that it is possible to play by Georgian empire adding some kind of patches and a Broken Crescent i downloaded BC but on some webpages people say to install the kingdom version and its 14GB so i cant download it... my question is very simple, what should i do to be able to play Georgian empire? thanks in advance

The first question would be what version of the game as in original dvd, Gold Edition, or download? If download, from where?

It is not downloaded, i installed it from the CD that a friend gave me (the CD seemed original)
