will tranches be garisonable? i mean with the "trenches" in 4.2 some of my units (even on guard mode) the 1st line comes out of the "trench" and stands on top of it and is annhilated and another line after another is decimated so.... will trenches be garisonable in 4.5 or 5.0? like buildings but its trenches....

I doubt they'll be like buildings in the first release, they'll e just like the fences I suppose

I doubt they will. But this depends on the AI improvements they shall make until then.

We aim to eventually introduce a new trench model, but this is an uncertainty. Also, seeing kungfuserge's work on The Alamo, it may just be possible to convert forts into garrisonable trenches, but this would be extremely difficult to do, and definitely far off if it ever were to happen.

you're not supposed to, its made to charge and go to contact.

The large unit sizes is one of the logistical problems that would arise if trenches were successfully implemented, you are right.

coz if we just put troops behind some obstacle, its quite irritating when the troops come out of the trenches and expose themselves

The Trenches would probably work better as fences, the only problem would be that they would all bunch up to take cover behind it.
