    Default About crowns

    Hi

I have a question. In my SS 6.3 campaign, my heir, has his heir crown, but the King doesnt have any crown, should he have a King´s Crown?

    And another question:
I have transfered the heir crown, to another family member, but the heir icon on the familiy tree hasnt change. I guess I have to wait one turn for the heir to change, isnt it?

    An another:
What happens, if the King, has the heirs Crown, and dies?

    thanks

I'm gonna venture a guess: You're using the Next Heir submod?
That crown is actually used to select your next Heir. Since actually choosing doesn't work in M2TW, the way it works is like this:
You give the crown to a family member you want to become the next Heir. Only when the King dies, the current heir becomes King, and the one with the crown becomes the next Heir. It will not update untill the King is dead.

What usually happens when the King dies, will happen again.
And you should have stated that you're using any submods, you're lucky PerXX guessed it.

its true, I should have said what submods, sorry
btw, how can I check which mods am I running? I selected with the setup before starting my campaign, but Im afraid about executing setup again, maybe I change something and ruin my campaign :S

thanks for the explanation, I knew that mod is for that, its actually one of the reasons Im trying SS, i hated when the game selected awful people for being heirs.
So, the one who has the heirs crow, is like "the heir of the actual heir", isnt it?
oh, one question: who wouldn't use Next Heir submod!? its awesome!!

but the thing is, I have been reading some config files (export_desc_ancillaries.txt), and I have found that there is a "heir_crown " ancillary which I guess is the heir´s crown, but there´s also a "crown_poland" (crown_turks, etc etc... for every faction). And I don´t remember where, but I think I read that your faction crown gets better with time. And my king now doesnt have any crown

What usually happens when the King dies, will happen again.
You mean that, if my king or my heir have the crown at the moment of the king´s dead, the new heir will be chosen automatically, isnt it?

    thanks very much guys

Hitting scroll lock should show which submods you're running.

No, he is saying that the ability to recall what Mods you are using by hitting scroll-lock was taken out.

It is from the Next Heir sub mod, whch can be downloaded either by itself, or in the Sub-Mod Compilation.

the thing is that I'm playing with the Next heir submod, and my heir has the heirs crown, but my king doesn't have any fancy Kings Crown (as I have seen in the descriptiion files)
.... is it a bug? or the king will get the crown at some point?

You mean like, "Crown of England" or the likes? Like in THIS thread? These require that you hold a specific group of settlements, and most likely eliminated your close rivals for that region.

Someone does not have to be the Faction Heir to possess it, the mere purpose of NHA is choosing the next faction heir, not the current one, so it shouldn't be in the possession of the current FH (which has already been choosen by the game) in the first place. Once it's purpose is done, it should be transferred to another Family Member in order to keep the selection in your control.
Cool, now I have it clear
    Thanks guys
