    i was wondering if there is a way of changing the requirements or the date of the marian reforms?, can anybody tell me if that's possible.

    Although, as far as I know, it's not possible to change the event itself you can edit the export_desr_buildings.txt file to allow construction of post marian legions. Just delete the lines ''AND MARIAN REFORM'' and you should be able to build them before.

    You can change the start date for the game and adjust it that way. You can add build time to the goverment buildings if your trying to extend the time it takes.

    P.S. I take that back. This will work for 1.2 but apparently not for 1.5 because they removed the 220BC requirement. The Goverment buildings trick might still provide a little delay.
