You record the game and can toggle off the video so that it only records the audio.
For commentaries record your sound according the video progression after use some good Video editing software and merge that sound inside the recorded game video.
Don't know but i think windows movie maker can also do it.

Generally so many option etc that exists in a video recording software is not free and have to be bought.
