Launch problems since Penninsular GONE at last!

Admittedly my PC was old and grey but once alt tabbed to launch the game was suprisingly playable.

My (even older) system was:

Asus A8V Mobo, AMD 3200 64 x1 CPU, 2 g 133/166mhz RAM with an 7600GT gfx card. Using fraps b4 upgrade I had a laughable 8-10 FPS during battles. Sounds bad but like I said suprisingly playable.

Bought via auctions once upgrade at a time and even though not NEW, it's a majot boost.

Asus A8N SLI Deluxe Mobo, AMD 4800 64 x2 CPU, 2g x 400mhz RAM and a GF 8800 GTS oc 512MB gfx card.

Still 3.4 yrs old but when launching the game for the first time....it actually launched all by itself for the first time since the Penninsular Update. Will edit post later with new Fraps FPS rate.

So I guess all the game asks of us is to be at least a little 'ragged around the edges' instead of decrepid?

Oh well thats my experience at least for those of us with the same problem.
