Need some help with Motherboard

Hey everyone,

Have a smile inquiry that I would like to get other people's thoughts on. My motherboard recently died on me, and am looking to replace it rather cheaply. I have been looking at the MSI 870-G45 board.

It has everything I need and all the features that I require. I have looked over the memory compatibility list but can't seem to find my memory list on it anywhere (KVR1333D3K2/4G. Which replaced my Gskill memory when it failed. The memory failed and then something happened to the memory slots on the motherboard. I have tested every other component in a seperate machine and everything checks out but the motherboard)

The Kingston memory that I have is 1.5 volt, 1333 MHz, CAS-9. The question is, will it work with this board?


Any help would make a huge difference. I'm pretty cheap and want to make absolutely sure before I buy anything. Thanks for your help.

Yes it will work the supported list is something that the MOBO company gives because they have tested them other RAMs where not tested on them so that's why they are not mentioned in the list but that's doesn't means it won't work.

In my previous ASUS motherboard they had a huge list but my RAM was not on it but i still bought and it worked perfectly. And then again on my new GB MOBO i bought a RAM not on the supported list and it still worked coz i was not gonna buy Corsair dominator crap it was expensive and had low performance in comparison to G.Skill one that i bought.

So go ahead and buy it.

One who earns money by himself and earns it honestly than that this is something that comes with it as we know the value of money then, i understand that, we all are cheap bastards here.
