This is from a song about the English defeating the French at Agincourt. I am tempted to use this edited version for the English battle victory music and potentially for several other western european factions such as France.
Lyrics:
Deo gratias!
Deo gratias Anglia redde pro victoria!
Thank you God!
England, give thanks to God for victory!
The lyrics are in Latin and although the word 'Anglia' is used it is quite hard to distinguish and most people playing the game presumably wouldn't know that it means England. Apart from that its a generic song in Latin giving thanks to God (god) for victory.
So,
A, Do you think its good for battle victory music for England?
B, Do you think it could work for other similar cultures with a heavy Latin influence such as France or Germany despite the use of the word Anglia?
