Is it any way to make replays of campaign battles? Its almost impossible to make good angles when recording with a thirdparty program like FRAPS. I rarely lag, but with FRAPs i get the worst lagfest ever. It would be nice if i could be able to record campaign battles. I know i record can do it from custom battles and use the replays from it with the in game built cinematic editor but they panic too quickly and non real generals. And the battles become tediously...

There was some command for it, I'm not sure which one, though. I read about it in the TATW forum long ago, will do a quick search to see if I can find the thread.
Edit: Here you go. Be aware though that battle replays are only repeatings of the commmands that were given during the battle, not recordings of the battle itself.

For FRAPS to run well, you need a somewhat powerful computer with at least a dual core CPU. If not, it'll lag horribly.

While playing and recording one has to make sure there is not bottlenecking between the components.
Instead of using Fraps try Xfire it consume less resources. Turn off the V-Sync, and select proper video settings like not 60fps somewhat 30fps.
Use game booster to free up your RAM that will help.
