    Default legion ancillaries

im playing SPQR 8.0 and i noticed that if i leave general Bob in a city for a turn, he would get an ancillary saying "legio XXI" (not the actual legion, just an example for clarification) and i sent general Steve to that same city, but after several turns of being in the city, general Steve didnt get that ancillary. i know its because general Bob already has it, but if general Bob dies, either in battle or natural causes, will general Steve be able to get that ancillary back if he returns to that city or is it perma-gone?

Yes, he can get it back. You can even transfer the Anciliaries between generals. Means even Joey can have it.

Put the two generals in the same army or town. Then open the Trait/ancillaries screen of the first general, and drag&drop the wanted ancillaries to the second general.

Those are really only needed for Premarian Legions after Reforms I never us them because they never match the legions. Its something a fan added to mod for those that like named legions for Premarian, I tried to explain that they didnt have NAMED legions before marius. lol

Its addition to somehow enhance the commanding ones of the legions. And helps sorting out which one is which for the killsheet.

Can you drag and drop by having open the family tree and the general's individual sheet, too?

Nope, doesn't work with the family tree ....

As well as you cannot transfer ancillaries between a general and an Amiral (Fleet), as far as I know. Too bad, since it would have solved the 'Priest of Neptune' ancillary problem (+2 Command at sea for generals....)

I find this Priest quite useless, especially since the last time my faction leader and all his bodyguards decided to take a swim in a nearby lake during a fight, they definitely drowned... and then I had to load my campaign (yep, I know it is against houserules, but I just couldn't let it pass.... Otherwise, history books would have called him Flavius the Lemming, or whatever.... I just couldn't bear with it )
