Hey guys,
I start up a new campaign in M2TW and it crashes after a few minutes of play. Fresh vanilla install no mods no nothing.

You got the minimum specs?
Jon had taken Donal and Benjen’s advice to heart: Sam may be fat and pathetic, but he is still a member of the watch, and one of the few black brothers who isn't a rapist or thief. (out of context, this sounds ridiculously racist)

Yes easily I had just moved my PC from my home to college. I can run Empire at max specs at home so I'm trying to figure this out..
Modded any files lately. Do you have Kingdoms and all of that. Unless, perhaps you have an incompatible OS or vid card. Gosh, there could be so many things![]()

If it is an overheating problem, is there anything I could do to fix that?

Post your system specs first before we can proceed. And use HW monitor and post the temps if you think overheating is the issue.
The temps should be posted right after when the game crashes it will help in tracing the problem.
I can not run this after it crashes because when it crashes, I cannot CTRL ALT Delete it off my screen i have to force shut down every time.
Does it crash when you start the game or when you start a campaign?
Because my AOK disk will crash right when I start the game, and my PC doesn't even acknowledge it. I'd really like to know how to fix that.

It happens on both my Kingdoms (cleaner) CD and my M2TW Vanilla CD. Would it be worth it to turn the PC off and have a look under the skirt?
Anyone?
As in open the case? Yes. Get a can of compressed air and blow all the dirt out.
Okay what are major connections I should check with the Video card?
It should just be plugged into the motherboard slot. I don't think it has any other power connections.
Okay I'll try out another game to see if it does the same thing for that. It may just be under a bad install..
Bad installs do happen. If it still happens, post your dxdiag.
And good luck.
Thank you for your help. I'm gonna wipe my entire directory post my dxdiag then I'll let you know.
