Sub-mods
First of all sorry if this belongs in the sub-mod section, please move it if so.
Some of the sub-mods that are out for SS alot of people see as essential. For me it seems to be Meneth's Compilation, Rollingwaves Historical Roster Revison (even though it's beta) and it would be nice to include some of the Prince's mods such as his accurate historical names one and some of his that are still work in progress.
Do other people have sub-mods they see as essential? If so do you think they should become part of "vanilla" SS and be included in the next patch?

Re: Sub-mods
This definitely would make things easier for new players. But which ones are essential upgrades to the game?

Re: Sub-mods
Well the fixes included in Meneth's compilation are 100% essential I think.

Re: Sub-mods
I agree the fixes for sure. Right now I'm using SS 6.3 + Meneth's latest MCompilation. But, I'm only using Alpha Zeke's Istanople sub-mod. Everything else is just the base MCompilation. I'd definitely like any recommendations to make the game more "realistic, and historical/simulation-like".

Re: Sub-mods
Check out rollingwave's Historical Roster revision. It's beta at the moment though and might not be too everyones taste.
Also Prince's mods add more accurate faction names, leader names, etc and there is a wip for adding more traits that looks pretty good.
