Im getting bored easily

Last week i started a venice campaign reached turn 65 i had late armies awesome income and had conquered most part of greece africa all italy and i was advancing to poland.but as soon as i took a break for one day i got bored of it and i dint like to continue it.Yesterday i started one with poland and i got bored on turn 50.Which faction would you suggest for me to start an interesting campaign?i have played campaigns with many factions before.I dont like italian factions that much.Although strange i havent played campaign with HRE and Byzantines.Which one is more interesting for a long campaign?

yea or just go to your descr_strat and change the timescale to 0.50, when I did that the nemy was much more active and it was much more fun.

i played stainless steel kgcm lots of others but same thing there.Although for campaigns i like mostly something more close to vanilla.I dont like the huge changes they have done in units in stainless steel.I dont like a heavily modded game.I want something that is more close to the vanilla version but provide a better game

I had the same problem.

Updated the game to 1.3, changed the timescale to 0.50 and started playing a very slow-paced, non-agressive game with Spain.
It's at turn 90 at the moment and I only control 5 regions in the Iberian Penninsula. It's way more interesting than it sounds.

medieval is the one i mostly like because of the medieval era and its unit roster.i like samurai i will buy shogun but MTW2 still remains one of my favourites.

if you prefer more vanilla try using retrofid they put the units of kingdoms in the normal Grand campaign, and other features. or try KGCM they have all the factions from vanilla and kingdoms. only donwside is the turns take a long time to load.

Yeah I can't figure out what faction to play next after playing Spain for 400+ turns. Kingdoms is DLing through Steam, and is taking FOREVER (2 days now and it's only at 500mb downloaded, but my download speed is 75kbs), so I figure I will play another compaign in M2TW. I wish you could play the Pope and elect cardinals, call crusades, excommunicate factions, etc. But you cannot in Vanilla

You can play to pope, but
- cardinals are elected automatically
- you cannot call a crusade, but decide if you like the idea of the AI faction
- but you can fool around with swiss guards and inquisitors
