    Default Teutonic Knights questions

    Are the Teutonic Knights a playable faction in CII/SV? If so, what era? Great Mod btw. Thank you.

    They are not playable. If you want access to Teutonic Knights, you need to play as the HRE. I will usually play them as a sub-faction once established.

    It would be very easy to convert the Latins (Antioch) to the Teutonic Knights as a mini-mod.

    I think I already have the Teutonic knights CoA in the UI files.

    Ok. I'll check deeper into HRE to find the Teutonic Order. Thanks.

    What does play "as a sub-faction once established" mean? That's a new reference for me. How does that work? Where can I go to understand it better, especially as part of this mod?

    No game mechanics there, just role play them as a quasi independent fief.

    I do the same in my Sicilian campaigns after Bohemund takes Antioch.

    Another solution is to play a hotseat campaign with the console disabled and type "control teutonic order" in the console (Without quotations). I haven't played this mod in a while, but if they are an emerging faction this will work.

    Visorslash - Okay. Thanks for the suggestion. I've never played a hotseat campaign. Maybe this will motivate me to try.

    SV - I found the UI references you mentioned. As I'm not a modder or a developer, can you tell me what HRE event triggers establishment of the Teutonic Order? About when does that happen? Do they then appear in a specific region? Again, thanks for your time and help.

    I highly recommend playing hot seat in Chiv II.

    If you want too get a Multiplayer hot seat campaign going PM me.

    I believe they are available from the start of the High Era campaign.
