Install Problems, M2TW:G

I got M2TW Gold from gamersgate

I went thru the install, i installed Medieval2 ok.
It showed another install window for Gold, but once Medieval2 installed the Gold window closed shortly after without the progress bar moving.
I opted not to install any of the 4 special campains, and that is when the M2TW:G window closed.

I looked for the "kindoms.exe" file where i installed the game, but its not there.

So my question is, did both parts (the gold version) install?
If not, what do i need to do

i decided to install one of the campains and now it works, i guess i had to install one of them in order for the kingdoms.exe to be moved over. as it seems they are only located in the special campain folders
