    Default Mordor breaking alliances

On turn one Mordor breaks its alliances with all of its allies. No other faction does this, only Mordor. I have tried tweaking faction relationships and standings, I also made Mordor a bit weaker at the start. But still, they break every single alliance on their first turn. Am I the only one experiencing this? Is there a resolution? I tried Arachon's loyal allies sub mod, but there was no change.

I have never encountered with such a problem. Seems weird.

    Maybe try to reinstall...

At the risk of stating the obvious I would say Its a bug, so I would reinstall third age and hope for the best.

This is the first time I hear of this as well. Could your own changes have caused this somehow? Maybe it's related to your 4th Age Campaign?

If it's just plain vanilla you're trying then I have no idea.

No idea, perhaps it goes to war with the ally of its allies and so it breaks all alliancesŋ really no idea

It must be a bug then, I will reinstall and see if that works. Thanks for all the info.

Happens to me all the time. Once when playing Gondor on Hard/Hard, mordor had reduced me to just Minas Tirith left and as i was preparing my final battle, they decided to attack the Haradrim instead and teh 4 mordor stacks that were besieging me left. I couldn't believe it, i just lol'd. Although 20 turns later, i did get defeated ut by the Misty mountain orcs. They and Isengard, defeated Rohan and so slipped it so to speak. Goes to show though that apart from the good nations, i find the evil ones, unpredictable when it comes to alliances.

Something similar happened to me. For some strange reason, Sauron called an invasion on some Mordor settlement. He saved Rohan's ass, as they were getting pummeled by Mordor.

You guys need to use some more imagination.

Itīs not Sauron calling an invasion on a Mordor settlement. Itīs Sauron dealing with a rebel orc captain. And if Mordor decided to stop attacking Minas Tirith when it was about to fall, it was because Sauron willed it so that the world of men would know how weak it was when it faced the Dark Lordīs power.
