What remake should be next?

Don´t know what game will be next after Shogun2. Maybe we will see a new era eventually cause only remakes would be boring. But what game would you prefer when they decide to do a sequel sometimes in the future? All three offer interesting eras, factions and styles of warfare. So what would you love to see next?

I am biased and want Medieval 3, but for remakes, you could easily argue a new rome as it is rather outdated the most from the three, and deserves it the most.

And then of course, some ETW dislikers can easily argue that ETW needs to be remade because of [Insert Massive Critique thread here reasons].

Regardless, Rome is likely the best choice as it is the oldest, though I would prefer Med as a personal preference.

Only because it is old we don´t need another Rome:TW. The game is overrated.
Medieval and Empire offered way more interesting eras. And better known factions cause they are the ancestors of todays states. Not to mention that Rome offered much fewer gameplay options. In Medieval and Empire you had various religions, the pope, colonization, theatres (America, India), foreign invaders (Mongols, Timurids), revolutions, higher and lower classes, crusades and jihads, technological advance to construct muskets and cannons, colonies trying to get independance, trade theatres and much more. So either Medieval3 or Empire2 would be fine for me.

Well I think M2:TW needs also a remake because it sucked compared to the first MTW. A third try can only get better.

We're not talking about a simple graphics update. Many new features can be implemented into games, and so a Rome 2 could be just as interesting or unique as Medieval 3.

Since CA has appeased me with the making of Shogun 2, I can finally give my support to Rome 2. I wish it would start at an earlier date so it'd cover both the Greek era and the rise of the Roman Empire.
