I'm not asking when anything is released. I read that there is going to be an early release of B.C. 3.0 containing scripts and such. Will this early release have any new factions? Also, when will this secret faction be announced?

As I have already said few times, there won't be any earlier release of BC3.

But there will be at least one minor release of BC 2.x before BC3 comes out.

I don't mean an early release of finished B.C. 3, I ment the next release containing a script or two (apparently), that will have scripts used in B.C. 3, which I think you mentioned in your second sentence. Will this minor release contain new factions? I read that there is a limit of thirty-one factions and that the team already knows of the faction they are going to use for the last slot (secret faction).
