i bought a MTW gold edition in a small daily shop....umm...2 days ago

really don't know what 2 do cos it harder than ETW & NTW...especially supply...too inefficient


So could u pls tell me how to adapt quickly to MTW..

Have you taken the tutorial yet? It really helps. After the tutorial, learning the game on your own will make you the best player.

Try the tutorial listen to campaign and battle advisor and play custom battles with small armies. Also own the game first in historical battles, start from pavia you practically don't have to do anything in that one.

Lol, I am not a newbie by the game, it was common knowledge of the first 3 series had horned my skills of directing troops.

That is why I am so comfortable with the charging & maneuvering & outflanking.

if u like shooting use factions like England, Russia, Egypt, Turk & Byzantine.

Italian factions and their pavise/genoese crossbowmen militias beats those faction anyday. Available as early as minor city and their usefulness stays throughout the whole game. I even bother to make gold chevs and full upgrades for them. While not the most deadly range units, they sure have crazy survivability and the fact they can be recruited from cities makes them almost hard to wipe lol.

If you play as a Catholic faction, keep the Pope happy and use him as a weapon against your enemies. If they attack you and get excommunicated, ask the Pope to commission a Crusade against them and pretty much everyone will go after them, getting them off your case.

If you haven´t doen anything more than conquering Italy, then you are a bit slow...
However, not if you have also expanded outside of the Appenine, which I assume you have...?

For an easy game, start with Spain; you have few enemies of note within shouting distance, you can easily overrun the Moors and Portuguese with your starting army, and form a bulwark against an aggressive France. Then put out feelers to Sicily, the Pope and Milan, and at least 2 of them will agree to an alliance, giving you support against a belligerent HRE which will feel threatened by your growth.

This is one of the easiest mid games in TW2, equalled perhaps only by Poland.

The Moors usually do extremely good in my games and I always find them hard to deafeat. I'd suggest England as an easy faction, as they have a really good position as an island.
