I got the "Peoples king" achievment.
I don't Understand how? Would anyone Care to enlighten me?

For King, Country, and lots of lovely money.
I got that in my GB campaign them Brits liked there tax cuts.
Loosing London and England probably made the Scots and Welsh very happy.
Some of the achievements are a bit vague. For instance, there is one for winning the European Campaign as Austria, but I think it means the MP campaign, not the SP one, even though it isn't stated in the acheivement.
Don't blame me, I voted for Pedro!
Yeah i've red that too.
Question about this achievement (peninsular campaign): Duke of the Victory- as britain, ensure that all regions in spain are liberated back to spanish control.
So you can keep the two provinces north of portugal territory (south of santiago)? I assume you can keep gibraltar as your capital. So which regions can you keep?
I was curious about this as well. And does it have to be within the campaign time period? If not, I might take my game end British Pen game and just keep going. I'll pull out the troops, make the people mad, and retake all the cities and give them back to the Spanish. Has anyone completed this? I think Steam said only 0.1% of people do.
Don't blame me, I voted for Pedro!
Well not everybody buys the DLC, so i think that's a big cut in potential people who could achieve it. I'm playing now as GB, on easy (to get a feel), and for as far as i know, the two portugese provinces south of santiago de compostella can not be liberated, so i assume you can keep them. I'll try to see if i can get the achievement by chosing liberate when it is possible, but i only started two days ago, so i can't say it soon
What do people suggest is the best faction to get the imperial wrath achievement? (conquer all of europe)
I conquered all of Europe with France rather easily. My current Austrian campaign has me owning about 1/2 of Europe, but it's a much tougher campaign.
8.4% of steam players with NTW have captured a region in the Peninsular Campaign, so about 1 out of 12 people have it. Not a huge amount, but enough that maybe someone has done the liberate all to Spain achievement here. I'll try my version to see if going past the game time limits works by getting cities to revolt and retake, giving back to Spain. I'll get back to that after I finish my Austrian campaign and the Spanish Peninsular campaign I am bouncing back and forth between.
Don't blame me, I voted for Pedro!
Why cant I delete my owning post ffs
Ok you gotta read the acheivment title very carefully-ensure that all regions IN SPAIN are liberated back to spanish control- so if the regions are in portugal then I assume they dont fall into the category of being in spain, the same goes for gibralter. I know its a pretty far out theory but might be worth a try eh?.........If you are American then I understand that you have probably never heard of portugal, in which case try looking at a map (of the world)
No i'm not american, i'm a proud European. the reason i called it "the two regions north of the portugese territories" was because i didn't remembered their exact name (they were porto and another one). I doubt much TW-players can name every region on a map, so i rather describe them than stick a wrong name on them. I was of the opinion that you could keep the regions, but the achievements are rather woolly described, so best to ask to people who maybe already got it, instead of trying for hours. Not to mention that the achievements in Napoleon never pop up right away, so you never know when you are right. I already have the duke of victory achievement. You could have known that if you looked at more than the first five posts in a thread.
So please don't insult me at insinuating i'm american. Try looking at profiles (and threads) first.
So back ontopic to people who actually read: I got the palace guard pendant, it popped up after 33 hours. as soon as i saw it ( i let the game on when i was going for dinner), i tried again my imperial pyschopath save, no effect. Guess we'll have to wait for the response on the question i asked at the support section in steam
Since it is weekend and steam won't respond soon, i did another italian campaign on easy, i declared war on everyone in the first turn, only auto-calculate battles, and won the campaign. I got my bronze chair of comfort (and explorer's badge) but still not my imperial pyschopathI don't get how you did it Rotaugen2009
Last night I decided to chase the achievement of liberating all the regions to Spain. I took my endgame as the British and took the last French city. I opted to continue, and pulled all my troops out of a different city to get it to revolt. I went through a few turns, it revolted and the rebels took the city. I moved my stack against it to retake it and liberate it for the Spanish, and it asked if I wanted to declare war! It turns out it went to the Spanish anyway. So, I disbanded most of my armies and jacked taxes to the max. Revolts broke out all over. I had a huge pile of cash, so didn't worry about the lack of income. A few turns later, Spain and Portugal declared war on me! A black rebel stack took a city in the west, and I was afraid it wouldn't count for Spain, so I send a 1/2 stack towards it. I got intercepted by the Spanish and destroyed. At this point, I wanted to see what would happen, so I disbanded ALL units (including Wellington) and waited. The rebels took all my cities and I got the message that my faction was destroyed. I thought I lost the chance for the achievement, but then it popped up in the right hand corner as my defeat video was playing. Apparently having the Spanish and Portugese hate me was all I needed in the end.
I decided next to chase the Imperial Psychopath one. I started an Italian campaign as France and declared war on all the factions on the first turn. Has anyone else done this one? Will it work in Italy, or does it have to be the European campaign? I'd hate to do an entire campaign and not get it. I have 38 of the achievements now, so I picked up all the ones you can get in normal gameplay. Now I have to set up situations to get the others.

This is what I have so far.
Don't blame me, I voted for Pedro!
So you got it by letting all your settlements rebel, including gibraltar and mid Pyrenee? good to know, i'm gonna try it once.
The link you posted just goes to the global stats, for me at least
The link was supposed to show global stats on the left, and the ones I have on the far right. Maybe I set my account to not be viewable by others.
In my attempt to get Imperial Psychopath, I wonder if capturing Turin and making an automatic protectorate ruins the achievement. If so, I have to ignore that city, although I could use the income of a protectorate.

I finally got the duke of victory but don't ask me how. First try: i let all settlements rebel, which offcours mented defeat.
Second try, i let all settlements except midi pyrenee rebel. THe spanish took the settlements, but didn't go for Pau and Perpignan, even 50 turns after they rebelled.
Third try: i let all settlements rebel, except the 3 in the north. after spain took them, i let perpignan rebel. I take it back, and then i quit the game. And suddenly i get the achievement, so i really don't know how![]()
