    Default Increasing Population Growth

Howdy there. Im playing as America in Darth Mod, and I was wondering if there was any code or DB that I should edit if I want to increase population growth? It doesnt really make sense for a colony of 40,000 men to be growing at 5 guys a year. Any way, any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Says the man in the Vatican, It belongs to God. No! Says the Man in Moscow, It belongs to everyone. I rejected those answers, instead I choose something different... I chose the impossible... I choose.... Rapture. A city where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty moralities, where the great would not be constrained by the small. And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city as well..."

Not in DB, you change it in the startpos.esf

I made you a screenshot, the marked field is the place where set the population growth of this region.

    http://picload.org/image/agdgww/grow.jpg

Negative numbers = Region doesnt grow
    Positive numbers = Region grows
Higher Numbers = Higher grow rates

    Needed Tool: ESF Editor

    File location (startpos.esf)
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data\campaigns\main

The old savegame will work, but the changes should not effect your older savegame.
Savegames makes partial copies of your startpos.esf when the campaign starts.
You can test it easy, but i think this will happen.
What you can do is open up the savegame with your esf.editor and change their the stats too.

    Hope, this helps

Gah. I edited both the startpos and the savegame.esf but nothing changed. I set the same value under the startwealth to various values and no change in either direction :/ any idea what I'm doing wrong?

(I really appreciate you're help with this)

Ooookay, this was a bit strange.
When you raise only the population growth, then nothing will happen.
I decided to search a way to fix this in the DB files.
But if you raise there the agroculture, its effect negative.
So i also raised max polpulation and it works.

Here is the file who add 1% population growth. I take this into the tech empiricism.
You can give them to other techs and change it how you like.

Simple extract and then copy this file in your data folder, its an moviepack so it will load automatic.

Hope this now will fix the problem.

    Awesome! I appreciate it.

So I guess theres no way to apply the population growth to just one specific territory then :/

Yes, for every faction, played by player or AI.
Or do you want it only for you or only for a single faction?

    Default Re: Increasing Population Growth

I was hopin there'd be some way to make it ONLY apply to the colonies (I'm playing as America and I'm getting very little population growth) So yeah, only to the areas controlled by my faction.

Late..(much to do)..but here is it mate

I have added 0,8% population growth to advanced irrigations (now 1,0% up from 0,2) and it should work only for you.
The entry from empiricism is deleted.

    Regards
