    Default Roxolani

    I was wondering if it is possible to make a script that makes the Roxolani actualy do something instead of just sitting there doing nothing??

    Like would it be possible to make a script that made them attack 2 or 3 specific regions and then when they are in control the normal AI would take over if you understand what I mean?

    Or is there allready such a script?? I would like to know or is there a place where I can learn a little about scripting so I maybe could make it myself?? Course right now I know nothing about scripting and therefore can't make it so I either have to:

    a) find such a script

    b) Find someone who wanner make one

    c) learn to script myself

    So anyone who know of such a script or a place where I can learn to make one myself??

    Besides, Roxolani are unhistorical , i think.

    Change their AI to fortified or something more aggresive (from descr_strat.txt)

    fortified just changes what they build not aggresiveness it might be cos you have your difficulty too low and still if you want ai vh aggressiveness you can create a script that takes 10000 of the ais treasury at the start of each of there turns so they don't get any money boonuses etc but still have the aggresiveness

    You could also try and start them off as a horde faction so they'll migrate south into the Sassanid empire.(The huns sent them down there in one of my games, it goes without saying the Persians had a difficult time dealing with them AND me the ERE)

    I just made them an emerging faction for the Sarmatians, makes em rather un-predictable.

    Revolts.
    And thjey always end up doing rather well, which is a bit strange.

    They revolted and then went off and wiped out the Sassanids :|

    Well I'm playing at VH/VH but the problem is that I don't know how to script, so I would like a link to a site where I can learn to script, maybe a place where I can see how such a script looks, would give me a better idea of how to make it :original:

    Do nothing? Funny, in my game they horded up after the Huns got them then went and conquered Ravenna.

    How do you make a faction start off with a horde? Im gonna make them a horde and put them a little bit above Aremenia

    haha yeah same. But that game was going really...strangley. I was playing as the ERE and the Roxolani went via Sassanian Persia, so did the Vandals :S the Huns went to constantinople cia northern france, the lombards went to spain and the saxons decamped in northafirca/portugal....
