I wrote this quote about it just now:
""Some Humans": Got to have more and more, never enough already. Wait until they are the onces that need just enough to survive, and not the amount to be pleased with."
Do you find it to be true ?

One of the few to still have his first avatar in place here on TWC.
I sometimes miss this place you know. This is where my journey began.
ambition such a characteristic of or kin, you now we all have thid hole inside that can not be filled, we try by many strategys to sasiete this hunger, working, money, drugs women, etc. For some it is not the thing themselves but the strugle for them. Eventually it is the simplest things that fill us, to know yoyu have done a good job, to have a conversation with friends not the wine you are having, to appreciate others, not have many girls, to have peace not power.
I don't think humans necessarily want more and more. I think it's really got to do with how our natural state works and how our brains are wired. Over time that which makes us happy makes us less and less happy (assuming it's static), our level of happiness with $100 more dollars might be elevated for some time but it will return to our 'norm' state given enough time. On the other hand we only value those things that we've wanted. If you never live without electricity it doesn't mean much to you but if you've never had it before its a wonder. It's just natural human psychology, if you want to value what you have do with out it for a few days.
I do and its part of what got us to where we are in the first place, the need to have more, be it because of greed because of the need to help others improve society etc.
We got from sticks and stones to airplanes and skyscrapers, that in itself reflects our nature our condition better than words ever could.
