    Icon4 Are there any 0 turn mods for Kingdoms or Med2?

    I really enjoyed playing SPQR Total War and Roma Surrectum before because of the 0 turn Unit recruitment but I notice in many Kingdoms mods, cheap units can be recruited 2x 1 turn and more elite ones take 2-3 turns it really gets boring and annoying.

    You mean the recruit pools instead of being able to make one a turn? You actually make armies faster this way, though, because you can make 3-4 per turn instead of one (even if retraining takes a little longer).

    And if you're making entire armies out of elite units... just don't. They are ridiculously expensive, and the AI is bad enough at tactics so that you don't need 20 elephants just to win a battle. One super elite army should be enough, and you normally would make those during peace time so you aren't forced to move them somewhere you don't want to.
