Tell me I am not insane...
Well, I was playing, and I tabbed out, and back in... and now, I can't left click on open areas to deselect units... tell me I am not imagining that I was doing it before..? My units just seem to be behaving odd, and I can't deselect them the method I normally do or at least think I did... tell me I am not crazy, and that I have enabled or disabled something on accident? I can't figure this one out, its really pissing me off and driving me crazy...
Thanks in advance..

Re: Tell me I am not insane...
Someone could at least respond with, yes you can typically deselect units by left clicking an open area or no, that was never a feature.. Ive tried everything and beggining to think I am just losing it and my mind is mixing games up or something, but I could've swore I was doing it..
Someone please at least put my mind to rest, lol. I feel like an idiot.
Edit: Also, when I say my units are behaving oddly, I will try to clarify.... they definitely are not behaving how they did before, and here are examples:
When I select multiple units and right click for them to move to a location, they, are not moving anywhere near that location and tend to spread themselves WAYYY out across the map in such a ridiculous manner that I have to individually select units and move them now, moving groups of units is impossible.
If I redefine the shape of a unit (Like, from a rectangular formation to a square formation) and then move the unit, they automaticly change it drasticly, especially my archers...
I don't understand what is going on, I never had any serious issues with how my units moved (There were minor odd and end issues, but none of this crap). I could be mistaken about the left click deselect but the way my units are behaving is something new, its like they are trying to arrange themselves in a rather spread out manner or something, and I cant pinpoint why. Please help, the game really is unplayable atm and its frustrating the hell out of me. I fired up Rome Total War and my units all behave fine in there.. so i know its got to be something I enabled or disabled on accident.
Edit #2:
Well, I believe I have sorted out at least part of my issue with my unit bahavior thankfully, though I am really not sure how any of it got adjusted as I never hit the keys, but at least thats better.. sorry for this rather noobish post, I typically don't have any issues with playing, its late, and i was getting frustrated as could be trying to play with my units doing whatever they felt like...

Insane? No.. But alt-tabbing with this game can cause more problems than it's worth. I had to reinstall the game once because the computer crashed while alt-tabbed out. and files got messed up in the process.

Re: Tell me I am not insane...
I appreciate the responses, but I still have yet to get a simple yes, you can typically deselect all units by left clicking the empty field, or no, that was not a feature.
If I could get an answer to that, that would be great. And if it WAS possible, then I will need help into figuring out how it became disabled, but that's another story. I have a wierd feeling I am just imagining it.
Anyways, if you can simply answer that, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

That one I don't know. The few battles I have fought I never changed formations.
