Alexander 64 bit system

Hi guys. Has anyone had any luck getting Alexander to run on a 64 bit system? After I install it looks for a 32 bit system file that doesnt exist on 64 bit systems. When I went to the microsoft compatibility site Alexander was listed as software not compatible with 64 bit windows. Just curious if anyone had any luck find a fix?

I've had it running on 64-bit Windows 7 since W7 came out. What message/file is it looking for?

its looking for mss32.dll. then when i download that file and put it in the folder it says that Alex.exe (whatever the executable is called) needs a 32 system. very strange. have not had this problem before with any total war game. I am running Vista 64.

mss32.dll is a file that gets included in the RomeTotalWar installation. It should be in the same directory as the Rome Exe, and if Alexander Exe is looking for it that means you installed it into the wrong place.

thanks for your help big boss! now should Alexander be installed in the Rome directory? I have installed it in a seperate folder (as is the default) and also in the rome folder itself. both time i got the same error.
