    Default Bare Kingdoms Mod Folder

    I've been trying to create a barebones Kingdoms mod folder on which to start a mod, but I'm having trouble. I downloaded Alpacas mod folder as well as GED's barebones kingdoms mod folder, and merged them. After I merged it, I loaded the game up, and it opened as it should. Trouble is when I closed the game, I get an error message after it already closed. I then tried to open it again and it crashes now. I'm really confused why this would happen. It loaded fine the first time, now its crashing. It'll get to the splash screen then BAM, its encountered an unspecified error and must now close. Theres nothing of susbstance in the error log either.

    Am I missing something?

    Why not use Gig's Bare Geomod that's kingdoms based?
    And what does your log say about it?

    Because all the units and cultures etc are still in it. I want a completely fresh base to work off of, and would prefer not having to remove everything myself.

    And my log doesn't say anything.

    Bare Geomod has all the vanilla (kingdoms version) files to start a mod. In fact, if you play the mod without changes, it would be the base game with kingdom extras like boiling oil.
    You could then use Geomod or manually edit the files (the good old fashioned hard way).

    Completely fresh start without modding files is not possible as the game will retrieve a file from the mod or the pack (or from the unpacked game), or crash.
