Default From Gunpowder to Man Power(and a question about kingdoms)

So ive re downloaded medieval from steam and as i wait for it to finish i wuld like some help. Here is my basic strategy for empire(like it requires one) i line my troops up unlimber the arty and wait. The enemy comes we have a shoot out and then the battles over. But I know this wont work in Med 2. So i need some help transitioning from the lucky shot lucky kill gunpowder age of empire to the skill and strength at arms medieval. Also i bought the package(guess steam is good for something 9.99 for both Med2, and kingdoms) So how does kingdoms work. Do i just play med 2 and i have an option in the main menu or do i have to click the shortcut?

Listen to the battle advisor he will tell you all the basic you need to know. It will be more good that way instead of reading guides.
Leaning the basic game by yourself is what makes it more interesting. For something advanced we are always here to help.

For kingdoms you have a launcher, select any of the four expansion campaigns from it.

You have adapt to the diffrent styles of combat for each faction. Hungry has a great horse archers but averige infantry, Denmark has great offensive infantry but weak calvary and defensive infantry, Scotland has amazing offensive and deffensive infantry but really bad calvary and archer, and Poland just sucks.
A true politition should always be willing to die if he fails his country. For no other group of people can cause so much damage or do so much good.

Their dismounted nobles are very good, and their cavalry is superb. (polish nobles and crossbow cavalry)

Seems like someone don't know how to use Poland . They are the first faction I ever beat the timurids with ease. Their calvary is simply awesome and can easily gain control of thier area because they have better cav than both Russia and Hungary. Poland is quite powerful in the hands of a human player. They build the wrong stuff when AI is in control of them.

    The poles are damn good!
In most cases, I don´t play as factions bordering them, and usually they go crazy on their surroundings - and when I DO get into contact with them, they´re as hard to get rid of as a splinter behind your eye... Annoying at best.
Imagine the power something like that would have if a human brain were to control them!
