I just checked the file...all is ok...it does work...you are missing something...Originally Posted by Jezza93
You either copypasted the file into the wrong Roman Campaign or you throwed it into the RTW main data folder where it does NOT belong..if the export_descr_units.txt would be in the Play_Rome/data folder it would work as the file is 100% ok

Well I started a new 1 turn campaign and not sure if its working,only just started building the palace at Akragas.
Will get back to you when possible.

Definitely put everything in the right place,I am using the Games for windows version of Rome though...
Never caused me trouble before though.

how do i find out if i have 0-turns or 1-turn please reply as i have always miss the legions forming sheild wall at the forfit of testudo

No, CPTs mod has a custum EDU file...so better not try this as this will break the submod

Hey Chris, great mod but i'm having difficulties. Only my Triarii are entering the shieldwall. All the Hamata and Segmenta cohorts are just entering loose formation when I hit the button and its telling me shield wall is activated. I'm playing rome 0turn with the rtw.exe

I, too, can only get the triarii and legions to do 'tight' and 'loose' formation, not a shieldwall. Though, your shield icon does appear. I may have to try reinstalling RSII or something.

HI guys!
Do I really need this mod If I have BI.exe only?? Because I noticed, that legions are actually making a "fake" shieldwall (not the tight one, that triarii and other highly trained spearmen do) when they are idle and the enemy is approaching. So would it be any different with this mod? Thanks for the answer!

Wrong. Space between soldiers is like in this video (expect in shieldwall or other special formations) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ndh3b9wC-A0 to make it possible use that kind of tactics

It should as I was halfway through my campaign and I discovered this mod and it worked perfectly.

Great sub-mod. Thanks alot hope you read this. I have a little suggestion, you said you replaced the loose formation button, so im saying maybee you should keep this button and replace the skirmishing button. Dont know if its possible and i dont mod but it seems like a better button to replace. Personnaly I dont think that legions skirmish
