portraits mod?

The vanilla portraits look rather dull and repetitive, is there any portraits mod that is compatible with Stainless Steel?

Or at least something to replace the balding portraits so that we do not have balding 16 year olds?

I used to have a great mod for this installed years ago, but its no longer available, I had it on another computer which broke down with no way for me to recover the files.

Also I'd think that most portrait mods will work without much of a hassle, provided you are replacing portraits that already existed (by filename) in vanilla

thanks, the only downside I see with those portraits is that some look rather specific. A viking portrait might look odd on an Italian for example.

But I am good at making an excuse for it RPwise.

that is easily solved, there are different faction cultures, ie Northern_European, Southern_European, Eastern_European, Middle_Eastern

So as long as you put norse portraits in the Northern European UI folder only northern cultures will use the portraits ie HRE, France, England, Scotland, Denmark

ie UI/northern_european/portraits/portraits/young/generals, then put balding/old looking generals in UI/northern_european/portraits/portraits/old/generals
