Can you elaborate on that? Normally the screen resolution is saved in the medieval.preferences.cfg, ss6.3 default cfg shouldn't carry that value.

Done successfully d/l all 2.28 gig.
Question though, I have just come back to SS after a few years. What is Meneth's Stainless Steel 6.3 Compendium (MSSC) 3.1.2?
Should I be d/l and installing?

Also, the single exe file should be unpacked and installed to which folder please????

MSSC is a compendium of info about SS. It also houses the Fixes, which fixes a lot of bugs and errors in SS6.3. Fixes 3.3 is included in this download, so you shouldn't have to download anything from MSSC until a new version of the Fixes is released.

As long as it's on the same drive as Medieval 2, it can be anywhere.

Is it a self extracting archive or a real installer? Guess you have to wait for Blackshroud or go for it, as Meneth said SS6.3 will work as long it is on the same drive as M2TW.

Point it to Medieval 2 Total War Folder but should work at /mods also

Its an installer but the default it installs to is c/program files/Moddl/stainless steel full where Moddl is the website i d/l from. I can change where to install to, but not sure where SS6.3 is supposed to go.

Yes I know; put it to your medieval 2 folder, or the mods folder. as I said before. As Long as its on the same drive it should work according to meneth.

Ok installed to MTW folder and then ran the config icon and made selections. Then this came up:
