Mongol:The Rise to Power of Genghis Khan

anyone sew this movie? how is he? looks good.

I've seen it. It's pretty good but I thought that it was the first of several movies because it doesn't show anything but the very, very start of his rise to power.

I loved the cavalry just charging through the enemy holding their swords like that, got kind of went 'wtf' when the archers just shot them down. I kind of thought the movie was slow, and never really showed how he rallied the clans, just that his life was crap.

I saw it but and it was pretty good , the battle scene at the end was a bit anticlimactic though.

Yup, if I remember correctly it starts in his childhood and goes through his rise to becoming leader. Some enjoyable battle seens I think.

It's generally an ok movie, I only found the 2 swords wielding cavalry that you also see in the trailer a bit lame

First half of the movie was decent. The battle scene made me physically cringe, it was probably one of the worst I've ever seen. They should have hired an expert on Mongolian warfare, if not then somebody with a little common sense. I mean, c'mon, the ninja dudes with two swords charging the enemy army... Terrible.

there's a new one comming, about him as khan, so hopefully this will be more of what we expected about Genghis Khan

they should include the beach invasion of kublha khan army to japan in the 14 century. just because it was such a colture crossing the japs sew things that are behind thier imagination for the first time
