How do you tell if a HQ guild is taken?
Is there anyway to find out who is holding a particular HQ and where?
I'm trying to get horsebreeder HQ but I have a feeling someone got it already but I have no idea who (considering its quite impossible for AI to get horsebreeder HQ since its city based)

IIRC you can set up multiple guilds of the same type, for example you can set up a HBG in Paris and then again in Marseilles.

Yes, but you can set up 2 tier once per faction, and HQ is only available once in the world (there can only be one)

There is no easy way to detect that. Except use spies etc.

You could either do it the proper way and wait a long while to search every foreign city or use cheats to hasten the search and complete it within a single turn.
