What's the rage these days?

So I have been on a bit of a break from NTW lately and I am thinking of maybe doing a comback to NTW and these forums seeing that I get alot more of spare time in business-school than I thought.

So my real question is, what sort of tactics are vogue these days? Are lancers still as powerful? Are howitzers still as powerful?

And last but not least, what sort of people are still active here on these boards?

Lancers are still awesome,as are how's.I couldn't tell you who's active, but if you wanna watch youtube vids your best bets are TWreplays,Reflexcss,Saiedz, Rattue498,and RISQUARD.

Well to begin if a line is locked in melée they can´t form square. So cavalry can gangbang a unsquared line much easier.

that's different than when i was playing and it definately takes some getting used to. just makes cav that much more powerful.

The "rage" is the same as it's always been Hekko, "rage quitting"! Of course, you can add to that rampant "hacking", ignoring rules, and many other types of rude behavior.

and camping is also the rage, and the cause of much rage too.interesting major hem, you are onto something.

i think the tactics have remained very similar.one thing i have noticed is the dragging units through squares when they are attacked by enemy cav,its extremely popular.
you will find that there is still a fair share of spammers, campers, and kiters.
howitzers and lancers are still very powerful, and with most factions, if they have lancers, your opponent will usually use at least two.
and just watch as many videos as possible, most of the commentaries/commentators are great, if not all of them

are kiters people who just repeated run away while other sections of their army pepper you?

And it seems everyone loves light infantry now. In fact they love them so much that most respectable players cap them at max 5 100-125s
