Dimebag, I've got a question

So, I've been playing XGM for a long time now (I have several very old AARs on this forum) and recently have switched over to Apple and was wondering if there was any way you could make it possible for me to install this mod. I can't use the original installer because Mac cant read .exe files Any help?

It should work once an installer is organised. If you have a PC with the PC version of RTW you could install it on that and then copy the whole xgm mod folder over to a Mac version. When I get a chance I'll put together a simple zip file of a basic install that should do the job.

Assuming you have access to a PC copy of RTW, this should work for now.

I've tried multiple times. However they've set it up so the data files are unwritable. If I could get a winrar file or something similar I could over-write it. I've tried changing permissions but nothing seems to work. This file will not have its permission changed even if I go through the actual system security to change it. It always reverts back and I am rather frustrated now.

Alexander24: I have been looking into a way to get this working, but progress is slow because I don't have access to a Mac to test it out on directly, or even to see how things are set up on the Mac.

Ah I see, is there anyway I could help with that? Possible take screenshots for you? Its amazingly different from the PC version of it all.

Ok, so I've been messing around with it continually and I got some ideas from friends. I'm going to try compressing the installer into a zip file and then using that because Mac can read zip files. I'll let you know how it works, and if it doesn't I'll send you the screenshots.
