    Default Removing Guilds

    I did a search for this but I was unable to find any information on it, so I thought I'd ask. I'm looking to remove Guilds from my mod, and I'm wondering what files I need to edit to do this, and what exactly I have to take out of those files to remove Guilds in total. I am aware they're in EDB, some mission files, and the guilds file, but especially with the descr_missions I'm not quite sure what exactly I have to remove.

    The easiest way is to simply empty the trigger section in the ...data\export_descr_guilds.txt file.

    Will removing the triggers make them act as normal building trees? I'd have to add in new building trees if I took them out, but if they'll act like regular buildings without the triggers I'll just commandeer them for my purposes.

    Just remove the triggers from the EDG and they won't show on map ever.
    As for mission they only show up when you actually have a guild in your settlement.

    No they won't behave like normal buildings. Removing the triggers simply eliminate them being acquirable as guilds, that's about it.
    To convert them into regular buildings you've to eliminate the trigger section, edit the edb and edit their building tree names as well as their level names.
    After that edit the corresponding descriptions and the techtree entries in the export_buildings to match the former guilds new names of the edb.
    And don't forget to change the names of all corresponding ui files.
